I Am Time.

Suffering,
or bliss.
Do not be disturbed.
Do not lose your head.
Do not knot your soul.
There is no testimony,
no measuring of miss.
The either/or is mysterious,
that’s sure.
Just hear it.
Then see it.
Now taste it.
What have you found?
Ask your mind what it is like…
go on.
Four dimensions:
The first, second, and third outline space.
The fourth weaves the three through time.
The “rest” of reality
--the outlying dimensions, the corners we can’t turn--
Remains an unending possibility, eternity.
But we, the four dimensions, find ourselves entwined, right here in
gravity, right now in
time.
Pain,
or pleasure.
If it were a question,
what would it be asking?
:
Do you will or do you heal?
Do you think or do you feel?
Do you doubt or do you wonder?
Do you blink or stare your eyes?
Does your memory remember well,
to mind the tide of time?
Or do you forget while the wave
rolls in and out, in and out, in and out…?
Samsara,
or Nirvana.
Are you crucified below,
or Christianized above?
Does time tie your soul in a loop,
or do you make amends with the ocean?
Swim out to sea and taste the water.
Does it remind you,
or does it unwind you?
Space,
or time?
Science can see space clearly,
Eye it sharply,
Mind it deeply.
But time?
How does one approach it?
With a butterfly net,
or a scissor?
It seems the doctor’s scalpel only works on spaces
--It takes a metaphysician’s medicine to heal the wound of time.
And when it is cured,
What then of time?
The question leads us nowhere,
a what is not a when.
Time is a temple,
enter those who dare.
Sit,
and let time pass through.
Where does it come from?
Where does it go?
Quiet your mind,
let your body form a memory as it flows.
Time tells its secret to no one.
Time is one.
I am time.

93 views and only one comment? Loved this and feel it is is deserving of more attention. I like the way your mind ticks over. I like time as a temple, have always thought of life as that too, maybe it has an inner temple. Only one spot where I was thrown by your intention - did you mean quite your mind or quiet your mind?
